Welcome to the ‘stead, or Hampstead as found on the map. We are nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway and are known as the seafood capital of the world. All cool things. But one of the coolest things, if you ask us, is the little barn located right in the heart of town, known as the Skatebarn!
The Skatebarn has been shredding with the community for 27 years. The Barn is built upon the passion and dreams of local heroes and professional skaters, alike. From our concrete street skate runs to our infamous “little bowl”, this park has something for everyone, especially you.
Whether you are interested in a quick session, lessons, birthday parties, memberships or events, we have your deck, I mean, your back.
Skatebarn deets:
Entry to The Barn is $8 per skater, regardless of skill or age.
Helmets are required and can be rented for $3!
Current hours are 7 days a week, 2pm-6pm.
Want to skate all day, every day? Awesome!
Us, too, and we have membership options for you!
Members can skate 10am-10pm with a code for the lights and doors.
A waiver is REQUIRED for anyone who wants to skate the park!
You can fill it out online before arriving, if you’d like to save your Barn time for rolling around.

Homie-School Sk8 Session!
Summoning all the homeschooling homies!
Grab your board, your scooter, your skates and your homies- then meet us at The Skate Barn! Tuesday and Friday from 12 to 3pm are set aside for you! The session lasts for 3 hours, but feel free to continue to skate once we open to the public!
$5 per skater
Online registration is available, but not required. You can pay upon arrival!
Shred School: Full Week Summer Camp!
Skate, snack, shred, repeat.
Calling all groms! This camp is for skaters of all skill levels who are looking to improve their skill and style! From transitions to tricks, our skate instructors are stoked to work with these kiddos!
$400 Per Week

A little one on one skate lesson is the perfect way to elevate your skate game!
Our instructors are pumped to work with skaters of all ages and skill level!

Toddler Shred Sesh!
Calling all the little shredders under 6!
This is a session just for you!
Grab your scooters, grab your boards, grab your balance bikes, grab your friends and hit the ramps!
This is the perfect time for your kiddos to shred with like-minded and similar aged kiddos. Sharing the stoke in a safe and comfortable environment!
$5 per grom
Online registration is available, but not required. You can pay upon arrival!
After School Program
Let the learning continue, Skatebarn style. Supplement those hours inside learning with some outside shred! Our after school program is for 4th, 5th and middle school age kiddos!
Pick-up from Topsail Annandale Elementary + Topsail Middle School.

The skate park will be closed for your party during this time!
